Nightly Recap

  • Hurricanes 3, Canucks 1 - Chad LaRose scored the winner for the Hurricanes, Rod "the bod" Brind'Amour had 2 assists.
  • Six different players scored for Montreal, two of the goals coming directly off face-off's. Bryan Smolinski's played his 1,000th game and it was Alex Kovalev's 999th. Montreal 6, Boston 1.
  • San Jose walks into the Saddledome and eats up Calgary 4 - 1. Calgary must have thought that they were still playing the Oilers, and could walk right through the Sharks. Milan Michalek scored two goals, and Jeremy Roenick is looking very alive with two assists.
