Fantasy Watch: Goalie Starts

Jan 14th - 20th

Anaheim Ducks (4) – Giguere has been lights out as of late, but with three games in four nights Hiller may steal a start

Atlanta Thrashers (4) – Look for Lehtonen and Hedberg to split the games this week.

Boston Bruins (3) – Thomas has struggled recently but is still the #1 guy in Boston.

Buffalo Sabres (3) – After getting a night off this week, Miller should be ready to go for all three upcoming games.

Carolina Hurricanes (3) – Look for Ward to appear in all three games.

Calgary Flames (3) – Kiprusoff rarely gets a rest and should start all three games.

Chicago Blackhawks (3) – Khabibulin hasn't gotten the job done lately losing his last five starts. Expect Lalime to appear more frequently if Khabibulin continues to struggle.

Columbus Blue Jackets (4) – Until Leclaire gets healthy, Norrena is the #1 starter in Columbus.

Colorado Avalanche (3) – Theodore has gotten the bulk of the starts in the New Year.

Dallas Stars (4) – The Stars don't use Turco on back-to-back games so expect Smith to receive one start.

Detroit Red Wings (3) – Both Osgood and Hasek are continuing to split starts.

Edmonton Oilers (4) – Garon has won his past four games and will continue to start until he falters.

Florida Panthers (3) – Vokoun should appear in all three games this week.

Los Angeles Kings (3) – Look for LaBarbera to start all three games this week.

Minnesota Wild (2) – Backstrom was benched last game, but should be given both starts this week.

Montreal Canadiens (3) – With Price gone, all the starts will be going to Huet.

Nashville Predators (3) – Securing the shutout last game, the Preds will now count on Mason until he begins to slump.

New Jersey Devils (3) – Brodeur has won his last four starts and should appear in all three games this week.

New York Islanders (3) – DiPietro will be counted on for all three games this week.

New York Rangers (4) – With four games on the schedule Valiquette may steal a start.

Ottawa Senators (4) – Look for Emery and Gerber to split the starts this week.

Philadelphia Flyers (3) – Biron should appear in all three games this week.

Phoenix Coyotes (3) – Bryzgalov has won three of his last four starts and will most likely appear in all three games this week.

Pittsburgh Penguins (3) – Conklin has strung off an incredible nine straight wins and will continue to start until he falters.

San Jose Sharks (3) – Nabokov has been a workhorse and will be counted on for all three starts this week.

St. Louis Blues (2) – Legace will have a short week with only two games on schedule.

Tampa Bay Lightining (3) – Ramo has been given the majority of the starts so far this month.

Toronto Maple Leafs (4) – Raycroft has been anything but effective lately and will be regulated back to the bench with Toskala's return.

Vancouver Canucks (3) – Expect Luongo to start all three games this week.

Washington Capitals (3) – Kolzig should get all three starts this week.
