- The defending Die 1 Bundesliga (German League) champion Mannheim Eagles lost 3-2 last night to Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg and currently sit in last place. Former NHLer Eric Chouinards two-goal effort was not enough for the Straubing Tigers. They suffered a 5-3 road loss against the Augsburg Panthers. Former New York Islander Deron Quint currently plays for the Hamburg Freezers.
