From Steve Conroy of the Boston Herald:
As for Stuart, the former Colorado College star who was the B’s first-round draft pick in 2003 logged his first full NHL season in 2007-08, playing all 82 regular-season games and the playoffs. He averaged 15:22 of ice time, notched 4-4-8 totals, was a plus-2 and finished fourth on the team in hits with 101.
His play dipped slightly in midseason, but he regained his form by the end and enjoyed what can be considered a solid season for a young stay-at-home blueliner.

Stuart signed a 2 year, $2.6 million deal on Tuesday. That contract is reasonable for both sides, as the young Stuart had a fairly steady season for the Bruins on their back-end. He should continue to progress as a player, so look for his ice-time to increase next season.
