Could Campbell end up in Chi-town?

From Greg Wyshynski of Yahoo Sports:

Someone I spoke with at last weekend's NHL Draft in Ottawa categorized Campbell to the Blackhawks as "probable" should he not re-sign in San Jose. Chicago has targeted a puck-moving defenseman -- currently a deficiency -- as a priority this summer, and Campbell's the best on the open market.

Read his entire entry here.

Campbell is going to get huge money this off-season, and Chicago seems primed to make him a significant offer.

I have to be honest, Campbell is a talented defenseman who possesses many rare qualities of speed and skill but I was not overly impressed with his play during the playoffs.

Ballhype: hype it up!

Could be a nice fit for Chicago. With the Bullin-Wall in net and some solid deeeee and great scoring, could Chicago finally do something this year? And by do something I mean make the Playoffs.

My comment is about what you wrote in your assessment of the article. You wrote "I have to be honest", but my question/comment is; aren't you always honest?

I too am tired of the lack of success these Blackhawks have had. Is it time to bring back Eddie the Eagle. I heard he's available.

Can Chi-town actually do something this season?? I mean they haven't won a cup since 1961. I think most of us would be happy with a playoff berth.
