School gets priority for Riley Nash

From Robert Tychkowski's column at the Edmonton Sun:

"I wanted an education," said Nash, the third player selected by Edmonton in the first round last season (21st overall). "If I just wanted to play hockey, I'd go to the WHL, but I wanted a good education and it's first class there. They have great coaches and a rich hockey tradition.

Here is the entire article.

Interesting comments by Nash. You rarely hear players with a terrific shot at the NHL make comments like he has. The young forward seems like a mature young man and, with his play last season at Cornell, he has many Oilers fanatics overly excited about his future potential.

Ballhype: hype it up!
