TSN is reporting that the Edmonton Oilers have traded Raffi Torres to the Columbus Blue Jackets for Gilbert Brule. More details as they become available.

This move doesn't make a whole bunch of sense at the moment, as Edmonton needs left-wingers and is reasonably set at center. They are becoming more skilled and less gritty, but we expect more deals to follow.
